Mumbai win Qualifier 2, Akash Medwal takes 5 wickets, Lucknow out

In today’s Eliminator match, Mumbai Indians beat Lucknow Supergiants by 81 runs. With this win, the Mumbai team has reached Qualifier-2. In Qualifier-2, Mumbai will face defending champions Gujarat Titans on May 26 in Ahmedabad.

The Lucknow team was all out for 101 runs in 16.3 overs. Akash Medwal bowled fatally for the Mumbai team. He took 5 wickets for only 5 runs in 3 overs. In the Mumbai team, Cameron Green scored 41 runs and Suryakumar Yadav scored 33 runs.

Suryakumar Yadav and Cameron Green shared a half-century partnership in 26 balls after losing 2 wickets in the powerplay. Both scored 66 runs in 38 balls. Suryakumar scored 33 runs in 20 balls and then Cameron Green was also dismissed after scoring 41 runs.
