Mahendra Singh Dhoni: Mahendra Singh Dhoni is leading the Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2023. Meanwhile, a shocking report has come out, in which it has been revealed that Mahendra Singh Dhoni violates the rules related to advertisement the most. Dhoni is number one among those who flout the rules. In fact, the Self Regulatory Authority for Advertising Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) has released a report, in which this has been revealed.

The report states that complaints have been made against many celebrities and some have not gone through the process of due diligence. According to the ASCI report, there has been an increase of 803 per cent in the number of complaints in cases of violation of rules as compared to a year ago. In the year 2023, cases of complaints in advertisements made by celebrities have reached 503. A year ago this figure was just 55.

ASCI said that celebrities are breaking many rules. It said that when a product is advertised by a celebrity, the necessary formalities are also not completed. In such a situation, Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni comes first. ASCI pointed out that Dhoni is one of those celebrities who do not do due diligence before advertising.

Comedian Bhuvan Bam is also involved in this case of violation of rules. A total of 7 cases of violation of rules are registered against him. Let us tell you that in the last financial year, the violation of rules in the advertisements of real money gaming industry has gone beyond the education sector. About half of the cases are in the gaming, classical education, health care, and personal care categories.

Significantly, according to the Consumer Protection Act, if a celebrity is appearing in an advertisement, then it is necessary for him to have complete information about him. However, in 97 per cent celebrity cases, ASCI could not provide evidence of non-compliance of due diligence process.
