MP-Legislature Court acquits former MLA Mukhtar Ansari in Muhammadabad murder case

Additional Sessions Judge MP MLA Court acquitted Durgesh Mukhtar Ansari, who was accused of plotting the murder in Muhammadabad area. In the year 2009, Mir Hassan alias Meerkallu resident Chakshah Muhammad alias Malikpura registered a case of attempted murder against Sonu Yadav at the Muhammadabad police station. Considering Mukhtar Ansari as a conspirator, the police registered a case against him under Section 120B. Ansari was in jail since then.

However, the main accused Sonu Yadav was acquitted by the court in this case.

Oral arguments were made on May 6 on behalf of Mukhtar in this matter. After which the court fixed the date of judgment on May 17. Judge Durgesh of the MP-Legislative Court on Wednesday acquitted Mukhtar Ansari in the case of conspiracy to murder.

In two cases, this court has sentenced ten years

The court of MP MLA Court Durgesh had earlier sentenced Mukhtar Ansari to ten years in two gangster cases. The gangster’s first sentence was for the Awadhesrai massacre in Banaras and his second sentence was ten years for the kidnapping and murder of Banaras coal merchant and Hindu leader Nandkishore Rungta.
