Mother-daughter gang-rape in Rampur, Akhilesh Yadav slams BJP govt

A case of gang rape of a mother and her 13-year-old innocent daughter has come to light in Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur district. It is alleged that three miscreants entered the house with the intention of looting and tied up the victim and her innocent daughter and gang-raped them.

Based on the tahrir of the victim’s husband, the Saifani police have registered an FIR against the three accused in the case. Along with this, one accused has also been taken into custody. According to media reports, the case is from a village in Saifni police station area of ​​Rampur district.

The victim told police in Tahrir that three robbers barged into her house late on Saturday night and fled with Rs 5,000, a mobile phone and some valuables. After which the police registered a case under section 392 (dacoity) of IPC and started investigation.

According to media reports, a few hours after the FIR was registered, the victim accused his wife and daughter of rape. It is being said that the three robbers tied his hands and feet. After this the accused raped his wife and minor daughter.

After receiving information about the gang-rape, senior officials reached the spot and recorded the statements of the family members. After interrogation, police added sections of Gangrape and POCSO Act to the case.

 

Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Shukla said that the first person lodged a complaint about the incident of cash and mobile theft. However, he later filed a complaint of gang-rape along with his wife and daughter. The matter seems somewhat doubtful.

The SP said that we are investigating the incident and collecting evidence. Mother and daughter have been sent for treatment. The police said that four days ago, the accused youth had an argument with the victim’s wife over demanding goods in the shop. The matter reached the police station, where a written agreement was reached between the two parties.
