Minister Dr Kalla laid the foundation stone of Haj House Culture Centre

Bikaner: Education Minister Dr. B. d. Kalla laid the foundation stone of the Haj House Culture Center to be constructed at the Divisional Headquarters on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Haj Committee Chairman and MLA Amin Kagji and Waqf Board Chairman Khanu Khan Budhwali were also present.

On this occasion Dr. Kalla said that the construction of Hajj houses at the divisional level would facilitate Hajj pilgrims from districts of Bikaner division besides Phalodi, Jaisalmer and Pokaran areas. On the initiative of the State Government, such Haj Houses will be constructed at each Divisional Headquarters. He announced Rs 25 lakh from the MLA fund for the construction of the Haj House and said that no shortage would be allowed in the construction of the building.

Haj Committee Chairman Amin Kagzi said that with the establishment of Haj Houses at the departmental level, work like application and training of Haj pilgrims will be done more conveniently. He said that proposals for assistance ranging from Rs 1 crore to Rs 2.5 crore will be sent to the government for building the Haj House Culture Center at the departmental level. He said that the Haj House map and DPR should be made soon. Efforts will be made to build uniform Haj Houses at all Divisional Headquarters.

Waqf Board Chairman Khanu Khan Budhwali said that the state government has provided basic amenities to people of all religions and castes. Construction of Hajj House is also a step in this direction. He said that if the government land is not available in other divisional headquarters, the land will be made available by the Wakf Board.

Former Chairman of City Development Trust Haji Maqsood Ahmed and Zia ur Rehman also expressed their views on this occasion. Anwar Usta delivered the welcome speech. The program was coordinated by Dr. Mirza Haider Baig and Anwar Ajmeri.

Meanwhile, Salim Sodha announced to give Rs 5 lakh, Maqsood Ahmed Rs 1 lakh and one thousand, Sajid Sulemani Rs 51 thousand for the construction of Haj House.

City Development Trust Secretary Yashpal Ahuja, District Haj Committee Sadr Mohammad Hussain, Yashpal Gehlot, City Qazi Shahnawaz Hussain, Hafiz Farman Ali, Mashuk Ahmed, Zia ur Rehman, Minority Welfare Officer Shahzad Ali, Haroon Rathod, Akbar Khadi, Hafiz. A large number of people including Munir, Salim Sodha, Javed Padihar, ND Qadri, Zakir Nagauri, Yasin Khan, Usta Sumit, Kochhar, Bulleshah were present.
