In an interview in Bangalore, he said, ‘They have replaced the G-20 logo with a lotus flower. This logo should be related to the country. It is a nationwide phenomenon, but the BJP has hijacked it. This is not a party programme. It is a convention of SAARC countries.

I will not contest assembly elections: Mehbooba Mufti
Mehbooba Mufti said in Bengaluru, “China is now interfering in the affairs of Jammu and Kashmir, when earlier only Pakistan was doing so. This is the result of abrogation of Article 370 by the BJP.” He further said that until Article 370 is restored, I will not contest assembly elections, but my party will. Calling Jammu and Kashmir an open prison, he said that all our passports have been confiscated. If this can happen to the former chief minister’s family, it can happen to anyone. “The special status of Jammu and Kashmir was the best example of federalism, but the abrogation of Article 370 divided the state and rendered it ineffective,” Mehbooba said.

Jammu and Kashmir is a Muslim majority state.” Speaking on the central government’s ordinance on Friday (May 19), he said that the ordinance is taking away the power of the Delhi government.
