Mayawati has tweeted three times supporting the Narendra Modi government on the issue of a new Parliament. Not only this, it has also protested against linking it with the honor of tribal and women presidents. Mayawati said these parties fielded candidates against Draupadi Murmu.

The new parliament of the country is ready. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate it on May 28. But the opposition parties are opposing the Narendra Modi government. They say the President should inaugurate Parliament. All major parties including Congress, Samajwadi Party are protesting, Mayawati has welcomed the move by Modi government. Mayawati made three tweets on this issue on Thursday.

He stood up to Murmu in his first tweet
He wrote, ‘Whether it is the Congress party government at the center or now the BJP government, the BSP has always stood above politics and supported them on issues of national and public interest. In this context, the party welcomes the inauguration of the new Parliament building on 28 May. In another tweet, Mayawati wrote, ‘The boycott of President Draupadi Murmu for not inaugurating the new Parliament is unfair. The government has created it, so it has the right to inaugurate it. It is also inappropriate to associate it with the honor of tribal women. He should have considered this while fielding a candidate against him instead of choosing him unopposed.

In the third tweet in this episode, Mayawati said, ‘I have been invited to inaugurate a program dedicated to the country i.e. the new Parliament House, for which I thank you and wish you all the best. But due to my pre-arranged schedule for frequent review meetings of the party, I will not be able to attend the event. Thus, Mayawati, reflecting the opposition’s efforts to tie him to the President’s honour, reminded that he had put a representative against Murmu.
