Mathura: A fire broke out in a plastic factory scrap godown on Sunday midnight in the industrial area of ​​Govind Nagar police station area. Firefighters brought the fire under control after four hours of effort.

Pramod Khandelwal and Girdhari Khandelwal own a factory in the name of Rasik Products in an industrial area near Gokul Restaurant under Govind Nagar area of ​​Thana Khandelwal. Polythene, plastic related items are manufactured in this factory. A fire broke out in the junk godown on the factory premises on Sunday night. Before the fire reached inside the factory, fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot with two vehicles and started dousing the fire.

Chief Fire Officer Narendra Kumar Singh said that the fire was brought under control in time. It took about four hours to control the fire. The fire was fueled by plastic debris and storm surge rather than contained. Seeing the progress of the fire, fire tenders from Refinery, Kosi and Vrindavan were called to the spot. Apart from this, help was taken by ordering a tanker from the social workers.
