New Delhi: Maruti Gypsy EV has been spotted during testing. The special thing about this EV is that it has been specially designed for the Indian Army. It is being developed in collaboration with IIT Delhi and Tadpole projects in collaboration with the Indian Army.
Battery Pack and Range
The Gypsy EV uses a 21.7 kWh, 72 V battery pack. If reports are to be believed then it is being claimed that its top speed is 70 kmph. Along with this, this electric gypsy is capable of giving a range of 120 km on a single charge. By plugging it into a 15A socket, the battery can be recharged in about 9 hours.

Consider inducting the Jimny into the Indian Army!
