Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has withdrawn the interim bail plea pending in the Delhi High Court in the CBI case. While filing the interim bail application, Sisodia said that his wife’s health is deteriorating. The court did not give its verdict during the last 13 days, after which Manish Sisodia himself withdrew the petition.
On May 11, the Delhi High Court reserved judgment on Sisodia’s writ. Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma ordered the rejection of the bail application in view of the improvement in the health of Manish’s wife. On the other hand, the Ross Avenue Court on Tuesday extended the custody of Manish Sisodia till June 1 in a case registered by the ED in the liquor policy scam.
The Rose Avenue court has reserved judgment in both cases. The court will pronounce its verdict in the CBI case on May 27 at 4 pm. Along with this, the Rouse Avenue court has fixed May 30 as the date to announce the verdict in the ED case.
