Itanagar, May 22 (Hindustan Times). An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 was felt at 08:15 minutes 39 seconds Indian time today (Monday) morning in the area of ​​international border of Myanmar, which is adjacent to neighboring Myanmar of Arunachal Pradesh. It affected Arunachal Pradesh as well as parts of Assam and Nagaland. Very low intensity tremors were felt here.

The northeast area falls under Seismic Zone-5. According to the Indian Seismology Center, its epicenter is 14 km below the ground. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at 27.05 North latitude and 97.04 East longitude. No damage has been reported so far from the earthquake.
