Knife attack near school in Beijing, 5 people including 3 children injured

Beijing: Five people, including three children, were injured in a knife attack near a school in the Chinese capital Beijing on Monday. Police gave information about this attack. Police said in a statement that the attack took place in the afternoon in Beijing’s northwestern Haidian district and no one was seriously injured. Those injured in the attack have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

The police statement said that the suspect, Tang (50), was taken into custody from the scene and is being questioned. According to the statement, the attack took place near a famous primary school. There was chaos near the school after this sudden attack. A video has also surfaced on social media regarding the incident. In the video, two students are seen lying on the ground and in another picture, a man covered in blood is also seen lying on the ground.
