New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Nitish Rana got into an argument with the umpire during his team’s winning struggle against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday (May 14).

This was KKR’s second offense of the season under the IPL Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences. Due to this, a fine of Rs 24 lakh has been imposed on Rana. All players in the team, including substitutes, have been fined Rs 6 lakh or 25 per cent of their match fees.
