Karnataka Election 2023: Karnataka After the defeat in the elections, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has submitted his resignation to Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot. Along with this, the entire cabinet has also resigned. The Bharatiya Janata Party has won 65 seats in the Karnataka assembly elections. The Congress has secured an absolute majority by winning 136 seats. JDS had won 19 seats. Others got only four seats.
