Jind: Private play schools do not meet the criteria

Jind, May 18 (Hindustan Times). A team of District Program Officer of Women and Child Development Department inspected three play schools located in Julana area. The team found some flaws in Play School. A notice will be given to the school administrators. Play school administrators will not be recognized if they do not improve even after notice. The team inspected Shivam Play School, Foundation Play School and Sunshine Play School in Kilajfargarh village of the city.

District Program Officer Seema Prasad said three private play schools were inspected by an inspection committee formed before registration of private play schools following the guidelines of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Manoj Kumar. During the investigation, any defects like building safety, fire safety, CCTV cameras, society register certificate have been found in the play school.

All concerned school managements have been informed about this, so that children get basic facilities and good environment in private play schools as per HQ guidelines. The District Program Officer has appealed to the parents that they should check the accreditation of the play school before enrolling their children. Block Education Officer Pradeep Dahiya, CDPO Ramrathi and Legal Officer Amit Sharma were also present on this occasion.
