Chennai Super Kings vs Gujarat Titans, IPL 2023 Final: Today once again fans will throng the gate of Ahmedabad. Today once again slogans of Dhoni-Dhona will echo inside the stadium and outside the stadium. Yesterday i.e. on Sunday the match was canceled due to rain. Reserve day has been kept for them today. Then there is only one question in the mind of most of the fans that to get entry into the stadium today fans will have to buy tickets again by spending expensive fees?

Significantly, the final match of the 16th season of IPL (IPL-2023) between the four-time champion team Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans (CSK vs GT) could not be held on 28 May. Rain and inclement weather disappointed the fans who thronged the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in large numbers to watch the match. Now the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken a big step.

Now the champion will be decided on the reserve day
Due to heavy rains, the final match of IPL-2023 between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans to be held on Sunday 28 May could not be played. Now this title match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on ‘Reserve Day’ i.e. Monday. It was announced at 10.55 pm local time.

More than 75 thousand tourists had reached
The Meteorological Department had expressed the possibility of rain on Sunday. However, more than 75 thousand spectators reached the stadium but were disappointed due to bad weather. It started raining half an hour before the time of the toss i.e. around 6.30 and thereafter continued intermittently for several hours. When the rain stopped at 9 pm, the covers were removed while two super sappers were also working from 8.30 pm. After this, due to heavy rain, the groundsmen had to put the cover again and the players who went for warm-up had to go out.

These are the rules-
In some parts of the outfield where there was no cover, a lot of water got collected. Even after the rain stopped, it took more than an hour for it to dry. According to the rules of IPL, if the match does not start at the cut-off time i.e. 12:06, then there is a reserve day for the final. If started within the cut-off time, the match will be of 5 overs per team.

BCCI gave information-
BCCI gave information about the match to be held on Reserve Day. In the email received from the board on Sunday night, it has been clearly stated that all the spectators reaching the stadium will have to keep their tickets safe and will be allowed to enter with the same tickets on the reserve-day. That is, there will be no need to take separate tickets for the reserve day. In such a situation, whoever has a ticket for the final match will be allowed to enter the stadium for the reserve-day with the same ticket.
