IPL 2023: Rajasthan Royals defeated by 4 wickets, Punjab out of playoff race

Punjab Kings had to face defeat in the 66th match of IPL. He was defeated by Rajasthan Royals by 4 wickets. Rajasthan captain Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to bowl at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. Punjab scored 187 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. In response, Rajasthan won the match by scoring 189 runs for six wickets in 19.4 overs.

 

 

Rajasthan beat Punjab by 4 wickets

Rajasthan Royals defeated Punjab Kings by 4 wickets in their last league match. With this win, Rajasthan’s hopes of reaching the playoffs remain intact. That’s why the Punjab Kings are out of the playoff race. Rajasthan needed 9 runs to win in the last over. Dhruv Jurel and Trent Boult scored 4 runs in the first three balls. After this, Jurel won the match by hitting a six off the fourth ball. Devdutt Padikal scored the highest 51 runs from Rajasthan.
