Chasing a competitive total of 198 given by the Bangalore-based side, the Gujarat team rode on explosive batting from Shubman Gill and Vijay Shankar to win with five balls to spare.

 

Shubman Gill, who performed brilliant batting for Gujarat, scored 104 runs in just 52 balls with the help of eight sixes and five fours, while Vijay Shankar scored 53 runs in 35 balls with the help of seven fours and two sixes. In the end, the team of Gujarat Titans scored 198 runs for the loss of four wickets in 19.1 overs and achieved the target of victory by scoring SS.
