A 21-year-old Indian-origin student was shot dead in Philadelphia. It is being told that some unknown people carried out this attack during the robbery attempt on Sunday. The deceased student has been identified as Jude Chacko. An English newspaper based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) gave this information on Monday.
According to media reports, he was shot by unknown assailants while returning from work on Sunday. The parents of the deceased student had migrated to America from Kollam district of Kerala around 30 years ago. Jude Chacko was a student and also worked part-time. According to media reports, he was attacked by two people during the robbery attempt.
This is the second such incident this year in which a student of Indian origin was targeted and killed in America. Earlier, Sash Veera, a 24-year-old student from Andhra Pradesh, was shot dead on 21 April 2023 at a petrol pump in America. This information was given by the police of Columbus Division.
