Hiroshima, May 19 (Hindustan Times). Prime Minister Narendra Modi was warmly welcomed by the Indian community on his arrival in Japan. During this, slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram were also raised. Prime Minister Modi met members of the Indian community at Hotel Sheraton in Hiroshima, Japan. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi was received at the airport by senior officials from Japan and India.
Members of the Indian community living in Japan gathered at a hotel in Hiroshima. During this he chanted “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram”. They also raised slogans of praise for PM Modi. Members of the Indian community, after meeting Modi, said that they were extremely happy to have Prime Minister Narendra Modi among them.
After meeting PM Modi, a girl said that PM Modi met us and he said that he is also happy to meet us. During this, Modi also took selfie with the children.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Hiroshima, Japan on Friday to participate in the G7 summit. During his visit, Prime Minister Modi will exchange views with world leaders on global challenges and discuss ways to collectively address them. Modi is here as part of the first leg of his three-nation tour to Japan, Papua New Guinea and Australia and is likely to attend over 40 events during this period.
