An Arena Polo Test Match was organized between the Indian Army and vs US Military on 05 October 2024 at Lakeside Polo Club, California (USA). The Indian Army team won 13-10 in this match. This match marked the first international experience of the Indian Army since 2019. The Indian Army team performed well and won this match. At the same time, US Army players and USPA officials also congratulated the Indian Army team for the victory.

Let us tell you that the Indian Army Arena Polo team of Lt. Col. Prithvi Singh, Lt. Col. Yatinder Kumar, Major Mrityunjay Singh, and Lt. Col. RK Gautam (Reserve) defeated the team of US military personnel. A highly competitive test match was played between the Air Force and Marine Corps with a score of 13-10. However, one player of the Indian Army team (Major Mrityunjay Singh) got injured in the second chukkar. He continued to play till the fourth chukker until he became unable to play. He later had to be replaced by Lt. Col. RK Gautam.
First international performance after 2019
The Indian Army officers performed well both on and off the field. Along with this, they demonstrated patience and determination in defeating the better-equipped US team. US Army players and USPA officials congratulated the Indian Army team for their strong horsemanship. The team was accompanied by Mr. Brijesh Mathur, Chairman of BMC Advisors, and Colonel Vikramjit Singh Kahlon an officer of the Indian Army. Let us tell you that this is the first international performance for the Indian Army team after 2019. In this match, the team has lived up to the expectations of the organization.
