India will host the Quad summit in 2024, announced PM Modi

During this, PM Modi said that we will be happy to host the Quad Summit in India in 2024. In meeting with US President Joe Biden, Australian PM Anthony Albanese and Japanese PM Fumio Kishida, PM Modi said that he is happy to participate in this quad summit.

The security of the Indo-Pacific region is important to the world

He said that the Quad group is an important platform for ensuring peace, stability and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region. There is no doubt that the Indo-Pacific is an engine of trade, innovation and growth. We agree that the security and success of the Indo-Pacific region is important not only for the region but also for the world. With a constructive agenda, we are moving forward on the basis of shared democratic values.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi further said that with joint efforts, we are giving practical dimensions to our vision of a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific. I congratulate Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of Australia for successfully chairing this summit. India would be happy to host the Quad Leaders Summit in 2024.
