The opening ceremony started with havan and pooja. After this, PM Modi formally inaugurated the Lok Sabha Chamber. High priests of Shaivism handed over Scepter Sengol to PM Modi. It was installed by PM Modi near the Lok Sabha Speaker’s seat in the new Parliament Building. PM Modi said that the new Parliament building will make every Indian proud. Prime Minister Modi has reached the new parliament building. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla welcomed him. After inaugurating the new Parliament building, PM Modi also honored the laborers who built this building.

Meeting with Adhinam Mahonto on Saturday

Adhinam Mahant had reached Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence on Saturday before the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament building on Saturday. PM Modi met him and took his blessings. On this occasion, PM Modi said, ‘Today your feet have fallen on my abode, this is a matter of good fortune for me. I am also very happy that tomorrow you will all come to inaugurate and bless the new Parliament building.

 

The inaugural program will start at 7.15 am

On Sunday, the inaugural program will begin immediately after sunrise in the morning. PM Modi will reach here at 7.15 am. The pooja in the pandal will begin at 7.30 am, which will last for an hour. After that all the people will proceed towards the Lok Sabha Chamber and after entering here the program will continue till 9 pm in the chamber. A prayer meeting will be held in the lobby after which PM Modi will leave the campus. After this, the second phase will be inaugurated at 11 am. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also release a new Rs 75 coin at the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament building. The coin will have a picture of the new Parliament building. The year 2023 will also be written below the picture of Parliament. Parliament Complex in Hindi and Parliament Complex in English will be written on it. India will be written on the coin in Hindi and English. Ashoka’s symbol will also be engraved on it.
