‘Imran Khan should leave the country’: Army offers PTI chief to avoid Army Act

Tension is increasing between Imran Khan and the army in Pakistan. Imran Khan was arrested on May 9 in the Al Qadir Trust case. However, he got bail two days later. After the arrest of Imran Khan, the protesters targeted the Pakistani army, due to which the army was removed from there. It has been announced to register a case against the protesters under the Army Act. According to sources, Pakistan Army has made an offer to Imran Khan.

Pakistani Army has offered former PM Imran Khan to leave Pakistan and said, otherwise get ready to face the Army Act. Army has offered Imran Khan to go to Dubai and London. The country’s army said that if Imran Khan leaves the country, then the army will not register any case against him.

Imran Khan turned down the offer

Imran Khan has refused to accept the offer made by the Pakistan Army. He gave a befitting reply to the Pakistani army and said that whatever happens, I will not leave Pakistan.

Earlier, Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir had openly threatened the supporters of Imran Khan that if the act of May 9 is repeated, we will not tolerate it. He made this statement during his visit to Sialkot garrison where he went to lay wreath at the Martyr’s Memorial.

Prosecution permitted under Army Act

Protesters arrested two days ago in Pakistan have been allowed to be prosecuted under the Army Act. The army plays an important role in any internal matter of the country. The Pakistan Army asked the government to implement the Army Act. The Army Act is also known as the Official Secrets Act. With the help of this, the army can give severe punishment to the criminals arrested by it. Under this, former PM Imran and his workers can be punished from life imprisonment to death.
