Imran Khan got bail Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and PTI chief Imran Khan got bail from Islamabad High Court on Friday. The High Court granted him bail for two weeks in the Al-Qadir Trust case. Also, the court ordered Imran Khan not to be arrested under any circumstances till May 17. In this way, the High Court has granted bail to Imran Khan in all 121 cases.
The hearing took place in courtroom number three. During the hearing in the court, PTI supporters created a ruckus. A three-judge bench was present to hear Imran Khan’s case. Before the hearing, Imran Khan was present in the police line. He was taken to the Islamabad court amid tight security. During this, Imran Khan’s supporters blocked the Islamabad to Srinagar highway. The police had made tight security arrangements at the Islamabad High Court.
In the midst of a civil war-like situation in Pakistan, former Prime Minister Imran Khan has got a big relief. The Islamabad High Court granted bail for two weeks in all cases including the Al Qadeer case. The Islamabad High Court has ordered that Imran Khan will not be arrested in any new case till May 17. He has got bail in all the cases. Earlier, Imran had given an open warning to Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir.
Imran Khan said that Pakistan’s army chief is afraid of him. General Munir is responsible for the violence happening across the country. This is not an arrest, it is abduction, he said. Imran Khan had warned on Friday that if he was arrested again, there would be havoc in the whole country.
121 cases are registered against Imran Khan
According to the news, the Deputy Inspector General (Investigation) is leading the Lahore Police team. According to news reports, the joint team probing the cases registered against Imran Khan has told the Islamabad High Court that it wants to arrest the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party (PTI) chairman Khan. Khan, who was ousted from power in April last year, has been booked in 121 cases including sedition, blasphemy, inciting violence and terrorism.
In Lahore alone, 12 cases of terrorism have been registered against Imran Khan while another 14 cases have been registered in Faisalabad. Meanwhile, 70-year-old Khan was produced before a special bench of the Islamabad High Court for hearing his bail plea in a corruption case amid tight security. The special bench of the high court comprises Justice Miyagul Hasan Aurangzeb and Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz.
