The total prize money of the World Test Championship 2021-23 is around Rs 31.4 crore which will be divided among 9 teams. Third place South African cricket team will get Rs 3.5 crore and fourth place England cricket team will get Rs 2.8 crore. At number five is the Sri Lankan cricket team, which will get a total of Rs 1.6 crore. After this New Zealand, Pakistan, West Indies and Bangladesh will be given Rs 82-82 lakh as prize money respectively. The team that wins the ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 title will get around Rs 13 crore along with the Test mace.

 

No change in prize money

The prize money of the ICC World Test Championship 2019-21 was also kept the same. In such a situation, the ICC has not made any change in the prize money of this tournament in the second edition.
