A case of burning a girl alive has come to light in Pakistan’s Punjab province. The incident took place on Friday at Garh Maharaja in Jhang district, about 200 km from Lahore.
The incident was reported to the police on Sunday. According to the police, this is a case of honor killing.
Rajab Ali, along with his sons Jabbar and Aamir and other family members, brutally assaulted his 20-year-old daughter before setting the house on fire on May 26, Investigating Officer Mohammad Azam said on Sunday.
What is the whole matter?
The girl wanted to marry the young man of her choice. Jane had left home the day before and spent some time with the man before returning.
Azam said that on the way his father, two brothers and some women of the family tied him with a rope and tortured him badly before setting him on fire.
Not only this, the victim was taken to the hospital where she died. He said, “Before the girl’s death, she had told the police about the arsonists.
The police have arrested the victim’s father, two brothers and a sister. A case of murder has been registered against the accused. The officer said that the arrested accused have no remorse for their actions and they say that the girl has hurt the family’s honour.
