Hisar: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the city’s Dayanand College and Praveen Yoga Academy to develop a culture of yoga among students. Head of Physical Education Department Prof. Surjit Kaur said on Tuesday that the purpose of this MoU will be to organize competitions like Yoga Marathon.
Teachers and students with special talent in the field of yoga will also be honoured. Yoga education will be promoted among the students of Physical Education and Sports Department. UG and PG students of Dayanand College will be trained for international level competitions in the sports ground. The MoU has been entered into for a period up to 15 May 2028. Dayanand Mahavidyalaya, Hisar Principal Dr. Vikramjit Singh congratulated and congratulated the department for this wonderful initiative. He said that the tie-up with Praveen Yoga Academy, which provides services at an international level, would provide better guidance and experience to the students.
