The court has given interim relief to Sameer Wankhede, who is facing corruption charges in the cruise drugs case related to Aryan Khan. The Bombay High Court has stayed the arrest of the former Zonal Director of the Bombay Narcotics Control Bureau until the next hearing on June 8. However, in the meantime, the court has also reprimanded him. CBI has registered a case of criminal conspiracy and extortion against IRS officer Sameer Wankhede. In this case, Sameer Wankhede’s alleged chat with Aryan Khan’s father Shah Rukh Khan has also come to light. The case will be heard in the High Court on June 3. The court has asked the CBI to file a reply in connection with the chat till the next hearing.
During the hearing in the Bombay High Court on Monday, there was also a discussion about the alleged chat with Shah Rukh Khan being leaked to the media. The court reprimanded Sameer Wankhede after the chat was leaked and asked if he is responsible for the media leak of the conversation with Shah Rukh? The High Court, while continuing the defense of Sameer Wankhede from arrest, directed the CBI to file its reply by June 3, while Wankhede’s team has to file its reply by June 7. After this, the next hearing will be held on June 8.

Sameer Wankhede was the chief investigating officer of Aryan Khan drug case. In the purported chat, Shah Rukh Khan is seen asking Sameer Wankhede to be lenient towards his son, while the former Zonal Director of NCB can also be seen reassuring him. In the court, the lawyer of Sameer Wankhede alleged that his client is fully cooperating in the investigation, yet an honest officer is being tortured.
CBI said- Wankhede has leaked the chat
On the other hand, the CBI claimed that Sameer Wankhede is not answering many questions related to the case. It seems that he does not want to share information about many aspects related to the case. The CBI alleged in the court that Sameer Wankhede had leaked his conversation with Shah Rukh Khan to the media.
CBI appealed not to stop the arrest
The central agency had appealed to the court that Sameer Wankhede should not be given any protection against arrest. However, the court asked the CBI to file its reply by June 3 and stayed Wankhede’s arrest till then.
25 crores were asked for Aryan Khan?
Sameer Wankhede is accused of alleged extortion in the cruise drugs case involving Aryan Khan. In this regard, he appeared before the CBI in Mumbai on the third day on Monday. It is alleged that Sameer Wankhede and his associates demanded a bribe of Rs 25 crore from superstar Shahrukh Khan to save his son Aryan from the Cordelia Cruise drug raid. After Rs. The deal was finalized in 18 crores. Wankhede is accused of bribery, extortion and conspiracy
Based on a complaint by the vigilance team of the Narcotics Control Bureau, the CBI has registered a case against Sameer Wankhede under the Prevention of Corruption Act. He is accused of making bribery provisions, criminal conspiracy and extortion threats. The CBI had registered a case against Sameer Wankhede and four others on May 11.
