A strange case has come to light in Kerala. The pilot of a train got so engrossed in his music that he forgot to stop the train at the station. Later, when he realized his mistake, he reversed the train again and brought it back to the station.

The incident took place in Kerala’s Alappuzha district when the passengers were waiting. The pilot of the Shornur-bound Wayanad Express at a small railway station called Cheryanad proceeded without stopping. He drove the train away at high speed and left. After walking several meters he remembered that the train had moved on to the previous station without stopping. At a distance of about 700 meters from the station, when the train was moving forward, it was driven 700 meters in reverse.

What did the railway officials say
The incident took place at Chernad station at around 7.45 am on Monday morning. This station is situated between Mavelikkara and Chengannur stations. This is a short stop. According to railway officials, there is no complaint from the passengers as none of them faced any inconvenience. The train reached its destination on time.

Officials said there was no signal or station master at Chernad station. Due to which this mistake can be considered on the part of the pilot. Officials said an explanation would be sought from the public pilots. He said that the passengers did not face any kind of inconvenience. car
