Gurugram: Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) will conduct prelim exam for HCS (Executive BR) and other related services on May 21. The exam will be conducted in two sessions in six districts of the state including Gurugram, Ambala, Faridabad, Karnal, Kurukshetra and Panchkula.
83 examination centers have been set up for this examination in Gurugram district and seating arrangements for 22272 examinees will be made at these centres. Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal on Monday held a meeting of officials through video conference regarding the preparations for the HPSC Prelims exam. HPSC Chairman Alok Verma was also present with him during the VC. ADC Hitesh Kumar Meena, who is also the district nodal officer for this examination, attended the meeting from the VC room of the NIC located in the Mini Secretariat. The Chief Secretary said that HCS (Executive Br.) is the premier service of Haryana. In such a situation all the officials should take their duty seriously to maintain the sanctity of the examination. He gave necessary guidance regarding jammer, CCTV, drinking water, lighting arrangement, security and confidentiality of exam material at the examination centres. He said that the exam will be conducted in two sessions in the morning (10 to 12 pm – General Studies) and evening (3 to 5 pm – CSAT). District Coordinator of Examination CTM Darshan Yadav and District Education Officer Indu Bokan were also present in the meeting.
