Hats off to the people of Karnataka for a decisive mandate in favor of change: Mamata Banerjee

West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC President Mamata Banerjee has given her first statement on the results of the Karnataka Assembly elections. Mamta Banerjee said, My salute to the people of Karnataka for the decisive mandate in favor of change!! Defeat of brutal dictatorship and majoritarian politics! When the public wants to win over the majoritarian and democratic forces, no central scheme to dominate can suppress its tendency. The moral of this story is a lesson for tomorrow.

 

 

The counting of votes for the Karnataka Assembly elections is underway, the trend is that the Congress has got a majority. Congress workers and supporters celebrate outside the party office in Bengaluru. On the other hand, many big Congress leaders are reaching to meet Karnataka State President DK Shivakumar.

50 rooms have been booked at the Hilton Hotel in Bengaluru, Karnataka. These rooms are booked for Congress MLAs. Congress has asked all the winning candidates to reach the hotel by 8 pm. Legislative party meeting will be held tomorrow
