Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar participated in a three-day public dialogue program in Mahendragarh. The last program of Lok Samvad was held in Seemala village on Friday. Meanwhile, the people present there demanded the sub-tehsil status of the village, after which the CM announced the sub-tehsil status of Seemaha village by holding a press conference after the event.

The villagers started protesting

After this program, the Chief Minister had to rest for the night in Dongra village. As the head of state was coming to the village, the villagers hoped that something good would happen in the village. But as soon as the villagers came to know that Shimla village has been given the status of sub-tehsil, they boycotted the Chief Minister’s reception and started raising slogans against the Chief Minister in the night itself. The entire village with women and children gathered in front of the Chief Minister’s residence. The police explained a lot to the people shouting slogans, but they did not believe.

Atelli MLA Sitaram had reached there

Meanwhile, MLA Sitaram from Ateli reached there and started talking to the people, but the villagers also took the MLA by hand and started raising slogans against him. On the other hand, when former Education Minister Ram Vilas Sharma came, slogans were also raised against him. Soon the situation turned tense from night to morning and the entire village turned into a police camp. The villagers also chased the local MLA and surrounded the Chief Minister’s residence.

The Chief Minister assured

At the same time, seeing the tense atmosphere in the village, senior officials of the state, including the DGP of the CID department, started reaching the spot. Additional police force was also deployed at the spot to ensure that there was no breach in the Chief Minister’s security. Seeing the situation deteriorating, the Chief Minister called some people of the village inside to talk. After a long conversation, the Chief Minister finally assured that he was not aware of the situation. Modifying his announcement, he said that the next visit would be to the Ateli Mandi Assembly, after which a suitable place would be surveyed and a sub-tehsil would be created. After this the villagers allowed the Chief Minister to go to his next place.
