Hardoi: Poultry farm owner killed with a brick

Hardoi, May 28 (Hindustan Times). A poultry farm owner was thrashed with a brick in Mallwan Kotwali area on Sunday. On receiving the information, the police reached and investigated the matter and sent the body for postmortem.

46-year-old Ramashray Diwakar, a resident of Karwa village of Mallwan Kotwali, owns a poultry farm on the banks of the Kalyani river. Ramashray often stayed at the poultry farm in the evenings. As usual, he went to the poultry farm late on Saturday night and did not return on Sunday. Passers by saw the dead body of Ramashray Diwakar lying in a pool of blood. There was blood on the bricks lying at the scene, from which it is being said that the owner of the poultry farm was beaten with these bricks. The family members and the police reached the spot after being informed about the incident.

Kotwali in-charge Sheshnath Singh said that the spot has been investigated. Ramashray Diwakar appears to have been crushed to death with a brick late at night. Apart from the family members, some people of the village have been interrogated. The body has been sent for post-mortem and further action is being taken.
