Gurugram: CM Manohar Lal showed his strength by defeating wrestlers

Gurugram, May 21 (Hindustan Times). On Sunday, Chief Minister Manohar Lal was seen with children and youth with youth. He had a heart-warming interaction with the children, as well as demonstrated wrestling prowess with the wrestlers. In kabaddi and wrestling, he shocked everyone by playing with wrestlers as a youth. The occasion was Rahgiri program in Naurangpur Village Sector-79.

This time, special attention was given to sports related activities in Rahgiri program. The Chief Minister gave the green light to the walk-cycle-run as soon as he arrived at the event. The Chief Minister encouraged the players. During the Kabaddi and wrestling demos, the Chief Minister himself tried his hand at wrestling by conducting raids. He also went among the players of Boxing, Gatka, Tug of War, Badminton etc. and got photographs with them. Thus Chief Minister Manohar Lal looked like a child with children and youth with youth. Many inspiring people including international players Manu Bhakar, Shivani Kataria and Divyanshi made a special appearance at the Rahgiri event.

Road Safety Week will be celebrated in the state from today: Chief Minister

In the program, Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that road safety week will be celebrated in the state from today. During this week, work will be done on the black spots of the roads in all the districts. Activities related to road safety awareness will be organized. CM Manohar Lal said that Rahgiri program was started from Gurugram almost 9 years ago. Now it is being organized across the country. So far one crore 30 lakh people have become its participants. The Chief Minister asked the people present in the program to contribute in making Gurugram a good, clean and beautiful city. He also announced the construction of bicycle and pedestrian tracks on both sides of the road where the Rahgiri will be held. The Chief Minister recited the song Manish Tu Mahan Hai. He himself visited the first aid demonstration site by the Civil Defense team and inquired about the CPR technique given to the patient.
