On behalf of DGCA, the company has been instructed to stop booking till further orders. GoFirst said on its website that flights up to May 26, 2023 have been canceled due to operational reasons. The company said, ‘Soon the full money of the booked tickets will be returned. The company has filed an application for immediate resolution and resumption of operations. We will be able to resume bookings soon.
Air ticket prices have started showing effect
In the past, the suspension of flight services by GoFirst had an effect on air ticket prices. Ticket prices have been increased five times on some routes. Now when GoFirst flights will start, ticket prices are expected to come down and the common man will get convenience. Earlier, GoFirst had taken steps to refund people’s money.
The aviation company has launched a new website for refunds. Ticket refunds will be issued to passengers only after the payment has been made to the travel agent and other websites. The website gofirstclaims.in/claims has been launched to process refunds for canceled flight tickets.
