Gold-Silver Price: Silver again crosses ₹ 90 thousand, gold will touch ₹ 85000, check today’s rate of gold and silver before buying

Silver rose by Rs 828 in one go and crossed Rs 90 thousand per kg, while the price of gold also increased significantly. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), 10 grams of gold has become costlier by Rs 134 and reached Rs 72162, while the price of one kg of silver reached Rs 90590 per kg. 

Silver crosses 90 thousand rupees 

On Monday, the price of both gold and silver increased. Today, one kg of silver became costlier by Rs 828 and reached Rs 90590 per kg. While the price of gold and silver fell last week, both started getting expensive on the first day of this week itself. Gold which had reached Rs 74 thousand per 10 grams, fell to around 71 thousand last week. On Monday, it started rising again. Today, the price of 24 carat gold reached Rs 72162 per 10 grams.

Global price of gold and silver also increased  

The upward trend in the price of gold and silver continues in the global market as well. The futures price of gold on the global market Comex rose by 0.48 percent to reach $2368.20 per ounce, while the spot price reached $2343.06 per ounce. The price of silver rose by $0.52 to reach $31.02 per ounce.

The speed at which the price of gold is increasing is going beyond the reach of people. The upward trend in the price of gold is expected to continue. Due to increasing investment in gold, its price is increasing. So far this year, the price of gold has increased by Rs 8810. The gold which was selling at Rs 63352 on January 1, 2024, has now reached Rs 72162 per 10 grams. At the same time, silver increased from Rs 73395 to Rs 90590. The ongoing rise in the price of gold can reach a new all-time high. According to Anuj Gupta, Commodity and Currency Head of HDFC Securities, gold and silver can go up to Rs 85 thousand per 10 grams within a year. At the same time, silver can cross Rs 1 lakh per kg.
