Ghaziabad: Excise department raided several villages, found raw liquor

Ghaziabad: The excise department raided several villages in Khadar area of ​​Muradnagar on Monday midnight. During this operation, the team has seized one thousand kilos of Lahan, 65 liters of raw liquor and tools.

Informing in this regard on Tuesday, District Excise Officer Rakesh Kumar Singh said that a special campaign is being launched to completely control the production, sale and transportation of illegal liquor. In this order, the Excise team conducted raids in Mathurapur, Samsherpur, Bhupkhedi Hindon Khadar areas of Thana Lo’s Muradnagar area. Meanwhile, about 65 liters of illegal raw liquor, one thousand kilos of liquor have been found. Illegal raw liquor was seized and the car was destroyed on the spot. Two cases have been registered under relevant sections of the Excise Act.
