Gang circulating fake notes busted in Kushinagar, 10 accused including SP leader arrested

Kushinagar: The police of the Kushinagar district of UP have achieved a big success. Kushinagar police have tightened the noose on the gang circulating fake notes. The special thing is that the involvement of the SP leader has also come to light in the fake notes case. Police have arrested 10 people including the mastermind of this gang, SP leader Rafi Khan. Police have also seized fake notes worth more than 5 lakhs from the accused. After the arrest of the SP leader in the case, political activities are also going to intensify. 

Rafi Khan is the national secretary of SP Lohia Vahini.

It is alleged that SP leader Rafi Khan was operating an international gang that circulated counterfeit currency from Nepal across the border. At present, UP police have arrested 10 people including SP leader Rafi Khan. Along with this, the police have also recovered a huge cache of illegal weapons along with counterfeit currency. The arrested Rafi Khan is said to be the national secretary of Samajwadi Party Lohia Vahini. Police say that Rafi Khan alias Bablu was the mastermind of this gang.

Naushad Khan is also a national office bearer of the SP

Rafi Khan had a network of counterfeit currency businesses in Nepal-UP-Bihar and border areas. Another active member of this gang, Naushad Khan, is also said to be a national office bearer of SP. Naushad Khan is the national vice president of the cultural cell of the Samajwadi Party.
