Former Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal Rayamajhi was produced in the court

Kathmandu : Former Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, arrested on charges of human trafficking, was produced in the court today (Monday). Rayamajhi was arrested from Kathmandu on Sunday night.

CPN (UML) secretary Raimajhi is accused of cheating in the case of fake Bhutanese refugees. His son Sandeep Rayamajhi was arrested by the police two weeks ago. Former Home Minister Balkrishna Khand involved in the incident has been taken to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for statement.

Police have arrested high profile people while breaking the network of gang sending Nepalese citizens to America as fake Bhutanese refugees. So far 13 people have been arrested.
