Kathmandu, May 21 (Hindustan Times). A brave ex-soldier who is disabled in both legs created history by conquering Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain peak. Hari Budhmagar (43), who set this record, has become the first person in the world to reach this peak with artificial legs. This information was given by a senior official of Nepal Tourism Department.

The official said that Hari Budhmagar, a former British Gurkha soldier, had lost both legs while fighting in Afghanistan in 2010. He conquered the 8848.86 meter high mountain peak on Friday afternoon.
