Food poisoning case in Alwar, medical department team worked till late night

Alwar: Around 150 people fell ill after food poisoning in Garu village of Khedli on Tuesday evening. He was hastily admitted to the hospital in Khedli and Kathumar. On coming to know about the incident, police and administration officials also reached the spot and investigated the incident. Block Medical Officer Ravi Raj Verma said that the medical department team worked throughout the night under his leadership. About 10 people including Dr. Khush Solanki, Dr. Dilip Kundara, Laxmikant, Nisha Yadav, Rajinikanth Sharma were present in the team. Anyone who fell ill was being treated at home. Most of the patients admitted to the hospital have been discharged.

The medical team surveyed 200 households

Block Medical Officer Ravi Raj Verma said that around 200 houses of Garu village were surveyed by the medical department team on Wednesday morning. In which all people have been found normal. Some two to four people complained of vomiting. Who has been given ORS solution. Now the situation is completely normal.

Fell sick after eating at a party

A program of Ramayana recital and well worship was held at one person’s place in Garu village on Tuesday. In which 700-800 people were given a feast. Along with dal, bati, churmani, dal chandia was also served. Around 3 pm some people complained of stomach pain and vomiting. Who were admitted to the PHC of the village itself. Then by night one after another the condition of people deteriorated and around 150 people were admitted to the hospital. Some patients also went to private hospitals for treatment. The situation became such that due to the increase in the number of patients, two people had to be treated on one bed. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Medical Incharge Dr. Ankit Jaitley called all the medical staff of the hospital and started the treatment at night.
