Five arrested including a doctor for selling 20-day-old baby in Ulhasnagar

Mumbai, May 18 (Hindustan). Police have arrested five people, including a doctor, who allegedly sold a 20-day-old baby at Mahalakshmi Nursing Home in Ulhasnagar in Thane district. Among the arrested accused are four women and one man. The police is deeply investigating the matter.

Thane Police Crime Branch Senior Police Inspector Dilip Patil said that a woman doctor from Ulhasnagar was reported to be selling newborn babies. Based on that, this information was confirmed by sending fake customers on Wednesday. After this, the deal for the 20-day-old child was fixed at 7 lakh rupees. Dr. while the police were dealing money. All the accused including Chitra Chainani (61 years) were arrested. The arrested accused include two women from Nashik, a man from Belgaum in Karnataka, the child’s mother and a woman doctor. The police are probing the matter and trying to get information about the bike-selling gang.
