New Delhi: Today’s cars have also become smart. This car comes with many advanced features. Like an expensive car. It has many other features too. One such feature is the cruise control, due to which you can drive the car comfortably on long drives. But if this feature is not used properly then you can be in trouble.
What is cruise control?
It is a system that automatically controls the speed of the car. As soon as this control is on, the car starts running at its set speed. And there is no need to press the accelerator again and again. Suppose your car is running at a speed of 50 km per hour and you press the cruise control, then your car will start moving at the same speed without pressing the accelerator. It is used on long routes.
Don’t make this mistake-
The feature of this car is good but it needs to be used carefully. Cruise control should be used only when there is not much traffic on the road. Because it keeps the car running at a fixed speed, there is a risk of accident if you are not careful. Also, this cruise control mode should not be used during heavy rain and snow. This mode should not be used on wet and slippery roads.
Keep these things in mind-
1. Get your car up to a certain speed before turning on the cruise control. Accelerate the vehicle only up to the prescribed limit. It should be noted that the speed of the vehicle at the time of cruise control does not exceed the speed specified by the company. Most cars have a cruise control button on the steering wheel.
2. After cruise control is on, the driver can take his foot off the accelerator. But you must pay attention to the road. So that you can control the car when needed.
3. To disable cruise control, you only need to press the clutch pedal once. Similarly, even if you press the brake, cruise control will be disabled. It can be turned on again later.
