Fatehabad, May 14 (Hindustan). Baljit Singh Daduwal, former head of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Samiti, reached Fatehabad on Sunday in connection with the action taken by the District Town Planning Department on the building of Gurdwara Sahib on Hanspur Road a few days ago. On the spot he went to Gurdwara Sahib and inspected the place and also interacted with the people present there.

Opposing this action of the administration, he said that the administration has been given time till Monday. The officers and employees involved in this action should apologize to the Sikh community and rebuild the demolished building of Gurdwara Sahib. Otherwise the Sikh Sangat will support whatever decision is taken further. Baljit Singh Daduwal, who reached Fatehabad, said that this is a very reprehensible incident. If there is any place in any religion it deserves a lot of respect. If there was nothing legal or the building was illegal, the people of the respective religion were to be taken into confidence and action was to be taken.

Notices were to be issued, but DTP started bulldozers the day after taking charge, it is not right. He said Nishan Sahib has been installed here, Gutka Sahib is installed, Sri Guru Granth Sahib is yet to be published. Langar was being served to the saints here. Nothing was going wrong. He said the local association met the DC two days ago and demanded an apology from the team and reconstruction of the building by Monday.
