Faridabad: Troubled by his friends, a young man hanged himself

Faridabad: Tired of his friends, a young man hanged himself on Sunday. The body of the deceased youth was found hanging from a ceiling fan in a rented room in Badoli village. The deceased has been identified as Dharmendra of Phalen village in Kosi Kalan, Uttar Pradesh. A suicide note has also been found at the scene, in which friends have written about harassment.

Deceased Dharmendra’s father told police on Sunday that son Gajendra had come to work in Faridabad six months ago. He used to work in a factory in Sector-24, some time ago he was living in a rented room in Mujesar. Young men named Monu, Rahul and Jeetu also lived with him. All three are also residents of Kosi Kalan. It was Gajendra who hired him as a friend. On May 16, Gajendra left Mujesar’s room and went to Badoli village and started living on rent. This morning Monu called Dharmendra’s younger son Krishnakanth and told him that Gajendra had hanged himself. On coming to know about this, the family members reached Badoli village. By then, the police had also reached the spot and took possession of the body.

During the search of the room, a suicide note was found in a bag in Gajendra’s room. In which Gajendra has told the reason of suicide to Sonu, Rahul and Jeetu. In the suicide note, it is written that the three were harassing him and also took away his salary. Gajendra bought a new mobile 15 days ago, which was also stolen by the trio. Monu inserted his mobile SIM into his aunt’s son’s mobile. The police have registered a case against the trio under sections of abetment to suicide.
