Faridabad: 7-year-old girl raped at knife point

Faridabad: A case of rape of a 7-year-old minor girl living in Krishna Colony in Sector-58 area by a neighbor youth has come to light. After the girl was admitted to the district civil hospital for treatment on Wednesday, the police took the accused youth into custody.

According to information, a resident of Krishna Colony said that last night when he was on duty, a 17-year-old youth from the neighborhood forced his way in from behind and raped his 7-year-old daughter at knife point. When he returned from duty, the girl’s health deteriorated, she complained of stomach pain. When he took her to the hospital at night, the doctor told her about the rape, on which she informed the police. Police Station Incharge of Sector-58 Police Station Anoop Singh said that a case under the POCSO Act has been registered against the accused youth on the statement of the girl.
