Fake call center busted in Gurugram, fraudsters were making people of America victims

Gurugram fake call center: Gurugram cyber crime police busted a fake international call center being run in a rented house and arrested 10 accused. An official gave this information on Saturday.

Ten laptops and five mobiles have also been recovered from the possession of the call center owner.

According to the police, Gurugram Cyber Police had received secret information that a fake international call center is being operated here in Sector 84, in which foreign nationals are being cheated on the pretext of technical assistance.

According to the police, these people mainly duped US citizens to buy ‘branded printers’ by sending fake messages or giving false information that their accounts had been hacked. After this, they used to mislead them by posing as technical support representatives. After cheating people, they used to change their numbers.

A police team raided the premises where this fake call center was being operated.

10 people were caught during the raid, who have been identified as Yadvendra (call center owner), Piyush Arora, Anand Sharma, Robin Singh, Rahul Siwach, Sahil, Nishant, Harvinder Singh, Kuldeep Singh, and Pawan Kumar.
