Establishment of new villages in border areas across LAC by China

By pretending to hold talks to resolve the border dispute with India, China has continued its misdeeds. China is rapidly building model villages and border villages across the LAC. Efforts are being made to settle a large number of people there and build military bases. In Uttarakhand, in front of Barahoti, on the Chinese border, multi-storey buildings are being built in 90 to 100 days, where 300 to 400 houses have been built. In Chinese language, such a village is called Xiangcao which is equipped and prosperous in every way. In some border areas, multi-storey military complexes have been built which are equipped with all facilities. Chinese soldiers have increased patrolling in these disputed areas. Earlier, patrolling was done in these areas only once in a season, now patrolling has been started every 15 days. Some areas are being patrolled by People’s Liberation Army troops for less than 15 days. Earlier, patrolling was done here once in a season or once in three-four months.
