Counting of votes is going on today for the by-elections held on a total of nine assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. Talking about the initial trends, the BJP seems to be getting a lead in UP. Karhal is also one of the 9 assembly seats in UP where by-elections have been held. All eyes are on the Karhal seat. Meanwhile, SP’s Tej Pratap Yadav is leading in Mainpuri’s Karhal assembly seat. Let us tell you that the counting of votes for the by-elections held on 9 assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh is going on. The seats on which by-elections were held include Meerapur (Muzaffarnagar), Kundarki (Moradabad), Ghaziabad, Khair (Aligarh), Karhal (Mainpuri), Sisamau (Kanpur Nagar), Phulpur (Prayagraj), Katehari (Ambedkarnagar) and Majhawan (Mirzapur) assembly seats. Voting was held on all these seats on November 20. The counting of votes has been going on on all 9 seats since 8 am today.
